Who are you? I am Terry Shea, and I come from the hills of central Pennsylvania. Unlike Brian Sell, my high school had a Cross Country Team.

What's your favorite food? Picking a few local joints:  Louie’s Greek omelet,  The Breakfast Club’s French toast, Kruse and Muer’s Red Wing Pizza, and of course, Oceania’s General Tsao’s.  Homecooking?  Carly’s Saturday morning pancakes – banana chocolate chip, blueberry, apple cinnamon, raspberry white chocolate chip, etc… - are all superb, and are second in taste only to my own.

Who's been your role model?

In “life” – my parents.  In distance running, there has not been a single guiding light, but there have been countless influences:  College coach Art Gulden; alumni mates such as Fullem, Clarky, Cresko, Harsh, Starky, Doc, Morg to name a few; runners past and present such as, Bob Hodge, Pfitzinger, DeHaven, wejo,  malmo (and many more) whose writings and logs are as inspiring as they are informative; and I am repeatedly influenced in some positive way by one of the names
listed on the left of the screen.

Biggest complaint about the other house? They Stole Trent from us and as Ben would say: "No Trent = No Fun"

What's your favorite quote? “Running well is a matter of having patience to persevere when you are tired, and not expecting instant results.  The only secret is that it is consistent, often monotonous, boring, hard work.”
- Rob de Castella
From my favorite chapter in Running with the Legends. I have reminded myself of this quote often over the past several years, and my only remark would be that running can also be quite fun at times.

What's your secret to success? I learned early in my running career at Bucknell that you can never trust anyone with a mustache (ie Sell, Doyle)
