Auburn Hills Store

In July of 2000 with the Olympic Development program just taking shape, the thought of a fourth store became necessary. At University just east of I-75, in the Auburn Crossing Plaza, It became the second Hanson's location in Oakland county. With I-75 a heartbeat away, this store location gives a lot of customers up and down the highway as well as nearby towns a Hansons closer to them.

Utica Store

Opened in November of 1991 at the corner of Hayes and Hall roads in the Eastlake Commons shopping center. The original Hanson's store was moved for space reasons to its current location of Hall road and Van Dyke in October of 1998. Technically speaking, in terms of raw square footage, this is the largest Hanson's store.

Royal Oak Store

In the fall of 1994 Kevin and Keith decided to make it three stores in the tri county area. Opening The store in Royal Oak on Rochester Rd just North of 13 Mile Road gave them just that. It actually has the advantage of being the only one of the stores not in a strip mall of some type.

Grosse Pointe Store

Opened in the Spring of 1993 at the location of another running specialty shop. Originally this store was given the nickname "Hanson's Running Shop - The finish line" as Sterling Heights was called "Hanson's Running Shop- The starting line". While the finish line would be moved back to allow for not one but two more store openings, this store still sits at the original convienent location of Mack Avenue one block south of Vernier.
